It’s that time again, folks! Today we go through a select pick of popular comic book projects on Kickstarter that are inching ever closer towards their deadlines and they need your support to be bought to life.
EVERGLADE ANGELS
When a girls’ softball team takes a shortcut through the Florida Everglades, they veer off the path towards a night they'll never forget – drinking, dancing – one last hurrah before college starts and they go their separate ways.
When they stumble into a trap set by a murderous cult, the stage is set for a night of blood-soaked carnage – but the cult has never dealt with victims who are ready to fight back, and while the girls might not have home field advantage, they have a game-changing surprise of their own.
Blake Northcott’s 48-page graphic novel is a double-header of murder and mystery that will crack you square in the skull ... it’s unfiltered survival horror like you've never seen before!

TRIGGER MORTIS
A nice pun for the title, this 64-page zombie western is the creation of Derec Donovan and is a splatter gore, action, horror Western that will keep you turning the pages so fast you’ll get paper cuts.
1876: on the eve of Colorado gaining statehood, rancher Sarah Mc'Clintock has hired a pair of Pinkertons to protect her family's ranch from the ever-present threat of Cattle Rustlers. She soon finds herself caught in a love triangle between her old flame, Deputy Dylan Hawkes, and mysterious Gunhand Seamus O'Donnell.
Until a zombie plague comes crashing to Earth, spreading like wildfire and threatening the unsuspecting citizens. Can the living band together to defend the town of Devil's Lantern from the army of the walking dead?

ACCEPTABLE LOSSES
This one is a one-and-done, self-contained 32-page comic detailing the last official mission of the USA's sole superhuman military operative, the US Eagle. On this fateful mission, Eagle finds himself at the mercy of enemies in the field and callous and careless superiors at home.
After the mission goes spectacularly wrong, we see the greedy and power-hungry Senator that caused the devastating failure face a horrifying attack on US soil. An act of revenge? But by whom?
This action romp tells a dark, poignant and action-packed superhero revenge fantasy, focusing on grim action and looking at the cycle of violence in the war on terror and those fighting it on both sides. Think Black Hawk Down meets Captain America, with a touch of John Wick meets Eye in the Sky.

ROBOCITY
Robocity is an one-shot adventure comic about a young woman engineer named Sophia who, on her way home from a hard day’s work, gets stuck in the middle of the desert when her motorcycle runs out of fuel. Luckily, she finds a town nearby. Surely, she will be able to find some new fuel there, right? The only problem is.... humans are not allowed!
The full title of my comic is; Heartlandstories: Robocity. Heartlandstories is the title of a possible collection of different stories set in the same steampunk world. Each story will be a complete story that does not make it necessary for the reader to have read the previous ones for them to be understood. Robocity is the very first one in this series and is also a one-shot story, which means that you do not need to wait for a next volume to see how the story ends since everything gets wrapped up nicely within this book.
