Under the Autumn Strangely
Under the Autumn Strangely
GMless pastoral horror game of anachronistic Americana in a land that Never Was.
Looking to recapture that special kind of melancholy we all crave? Being lost on a dusty road and discovering something new? That lovely feeling when something aches at the back of your perception which you can barely comprehend before you realize you have no idea where you are at all. The equivalent of losing your mom in a department store but now you're tumbling headfirst into a reality you can neither comprehend nor conceive?
Then come on down to "Under the Autumn Strangely".
Inspired by "Over the Garden Wall" created by Patrick McHale, players collaboratively create a world uncanny and old. Codify and encourage tonal clash as the Three Roles meld whimsy, autumnal melancholy, and dread. Under the Autumn Strangely is designed for 3-6 players.
So take a wrong turn on that country pass. Follow the sign past the red barn with peeling paint. Doubt your senses.
Get a little lost.
Welcome to the Never Was.
